SARATOGA COLLECTION FROM TAHKI YARNS

Tahki Yarns' founder Diane Friedman visits the Breezy Hill Alpacas Farm in search of the perfect fibers for Saratoga Collection's first yarn - CORA. Click here to see a video on how the Saratoga Collection came to be.

Introducing CORA - an aran-weight blend of Corriedale Wool and Alpaca fleece. CORA is a locally sourced and produced yarn which supports New York State farmers, spinners and dyers, keeping our carbon footprint to a minimum as the fibers are processed and brought to market. CORA is offered in 3 color treatments:

CORA NATURAL in the natural shades of the animals' fleece

CORA COLOR in dyed botanical shades

CORA HANDPAINT in seasonal multicolor shades developed by local hand-dyer Jill Draper

The SARATOGA COLLECTION booklet features 5 earthy designs to knit in CORA. In addition to the patterns, you can follow the Saratoga Story, in words and images, and the people behind the development of the collection. CORA and the SARATOGA COLLECTION are now available at your LYS and on our website. Click here to flip through the designs.
